The Escoda Perla 1436 is made from white Toray, one of the finest synthetic fibers available for artists who work with watercolors. The fiber holds its point and edge exceptionally well, providing a soft yet controlled application. This version is bevel-cut with a dagger-shaped tip.

The white Toray synthetic bristles make this brush soft and springy with moderate water absorption, and it is specifically recommended for watercolor paper. The brush features a Short handle made of gray-lacquered wood and Ferulle a silver (stainless steel) ferrule, providing a sturdy and elegant grip.
