Thinner for oil paints and can be used to clean brushes, fillers etc. No. 089 Thins oil paints. Thins the lower layers (only used in the first layers). Does not have the pungent smell of white spirit and evaporates more slowly. Less dissolving power than veg. turpentine and less suitable for making your own paints. Not suitable for removing varnish from images.
