Stellings Watercolor Pad Rough

Stellings Watercolor Pad (Rough) is our own high-quality watercolor pad, suitable for both watercolor and other water-based media such as ink, ink pens, and liquid acrylics. The heavyweight, 300 gsm acid-free watercolor paper is made from cellulose fibers and has a rough surface with a distinct texture, making it particularly well-suited for expressive brushstrokes, granulating colors, and wet-on-wet techniques.

The pad is glued on all four sides, so the paper stays in place while you work and is less likely to curl when using a lot of water. This means you can paint directly on the pad without first stretching the paper taut, and then carefully cut the sheet free once the artwork is completely dry.
