About Kicki the Vibe:
With a great passion for colour, humour and creative expression, Kicki has worked with art, illustration and teaching for many years.
Her creative journey began in childhood with pencils and watercolours, and as a teenager she quickly discovered the joy and calm that came from observing and drawing. Since then, her creative universe has expanded to include painting, collage, spray paint, stencils and mixed media – always with plenty of colour and room for play and experimentation.
Her art often features cartoon characters, whimsical creatures and humorous elements. She uses art as a way of telling stories and is particularly interested in combining different materials, techniques and forms of expression.
After having a studio in Silkeborg for many years, she is now based in Birkerød, North Zealand, where she works from her own studio.
Teaching is an important part of her creative practice. She is passionate about sharing her experience and creative enthusiasm, helping participants challenge their usual ways of working, experiment and venture a little beyond their creative comfort zones.
Over the course of more than 20 years, she has taught and guided more than 600 participants through creative processes – from children and young people to, today, primarily adults.
At the workshop, you can look forward to plenty of inspiration, professional guidance and a friendly creative push to explore new techniques and possibilities.
