Versàtil is Escoda’s synthetic Kolinsky alternative for watercolor—a versatile series that mimics the tip formation and springiness of genuine sable hair at a more affordable price point. This version (1541) has a filbert shape (oval, slightly tapered).

The bristles—made of synthetic Kolinsky fiber—make this a medium-stiff brush that offers a good balance between control and flow. Recommended for watercolor paper.
