The Da Vinci Colineo Series 422 is a gorgeous synthetic brush that is said to be the vegan alternative to the Kolinsky brush. The brush is available in many different sizes and shapes; this version is a fan brush, known for its wide, flared tip, which can be used for shading and creating textures such as clouds, the ocean, trees, grass, and leaves. The synthetic Kolinsky fiber is a blend of straight and wavy synthetic fibers of varying lengths with extra-fine tips, providing high elasticity and excellent color retention, much like genuine Kolinsky red sable hair.
