Stellings Silver LUX Canvases

Stellings Silver LUX canvas is made from quality cotton and is stretched on a sturdy 39mm pine blind frame. It is the wide blind frame that makes the model "LUX", also called gallery model. Excellent for oil and acrylic painting, from thin liquids to thick media.

Our canvases are primed with 2 layers of *gesso and with a medium texture.

*What is gesso?

Gesso is a type of primer used before painting to prepare the surface and improve the quality of the painting. It is a thick paste that is usually white, but can also be clear or black. Gesso is applied to create an even and smooth surface.
