Sennelier artist oil pastels have an extraordinarily high pigment content. Their texture is soft and creamy, almost like a lipstick. All 120 colours in the range are 100% lightfast, making Sennelier Oil Pastel a true artist quality. All shades can be mixed together.Oil pastel can be diluted with turpentine and worked with a brush. They are acid-free and can be used on paper, canvas, wood or metal etc. Sennelier oil pastels contain no drying agent. The colours therefore never dry completely. However, they can be fixed with Sennelier fixative for oil pastels 8 to 10 days after the work has been completed.
